Bryan Stevens

I began shooting archery when I was 7 years old, and it has long been my passion. I completed the Junior Olympic program for archery in 1983, and my instructor was the famed Darrell Pace – a 1976 Olympic gold medalist as well as 1986 Olympic finalist. In my career I’ve had the honor of holding a variety of awards: Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana State Champion, Great Lakes Sectional Champion and my father and I were National Team Champions. I also competed in the 1996 World Championship and ended up with an 11th place finish.

I have been hunting since I was a little boy – deer, squirrel, rabbit, anything I could get my hands on – and also fishing (I love catfishing!). I remember my dad taking me hunting for the first time, the stand was so high up that I couldn’t climb into it by myself. So my dad picked me up on his shoulders and carried me up there. The first time I killed a deer, I remember I was so excited that I could feel my heart pounding through my chest. I was so exuberant that I ran right past the deer where it was laying on the ground and spent at least 20 minutes looking for it. I ended up going to the car and laying on the horn for my father to come because I needed help finding the deer. When he came, we found the deer just a mere 10 yards away from the stand. It was a spike buck, but I was proud. Ever since then, I’ve had the passion to hunt whitetail and I look forward to being out in the woods each and every year.

Jim Wilson

My name is Jim Wilson and I’m so proud to be involved with the outdoors. First and foremost, I’m a husband to the most supportive, understanding and caring woman. She is the glue that keeps everything together.

I’m a father of two sons which I’m very proud of and I’m a son of the best parents a man could have asked for. I’m from Union, Ky, a small town in the northern part of the state. I was raised on our family farm where I spend a lot of my spare time.

My first memories of the outdoors are following my dad step-by-step in the woods hunting squirrel. I was five years old when my dad gave me a “pop gun”, my first gun. I loved it because it resembled the gun he was using. My dad taught me how to handle a gun and how to be safe while hunting, as well as other valuable life-lessons that I use everyday of my life.

I enjoy being in the outdoors and introducing as many people as I can to the outdoors through my passion and knowledge. In closing, I would like to invite you to come and enjoy the outdoors with me and the rest of the HHO family, and make your own memories. See you in the woods!
